This week was good and bad. Good because we had 6 meal appointments all in a row so we dont reallt have to buy groceries this week yay! Ive been able to bond quite well with the members we ate meals with and Brother Osho even gave me a gundam model just for fun i guess. Everyone is also super surprised at how young mom and dad are and always say that mom is a beejeen which translates to like beautiful person but its more like a mix between gorgeous and hot which is hard to respond to haha. The only problem with last week was that everyone and their entire family was busy over the new years week so we had few lessons. This week should be much better tho. Anyways im fine and although new years here wasnt awesome it is what it is for now. Today we are going to visit Akagi choros family out here in okayama. his grandmothers sister lives here and i think shes 90+ so it should be interesting. Its sooo hard to understand old mumbly japanese people so luckily we have members coming with us haha. Other than that gotta cut my hair but thats about it. Yuuups thats it anyways love you guys!!!!!!

Sun 12/14/2014 Email from Jonah

Herro famiry all is well here in the land of the rising sun which you cant feel anymore cause its cold. It has been freaking cold here lately and thank the lord i gots thermal garments because you can only layer so much before you look strange. ill probably buy some under armor like stuffs as well today. other than that everything is going great. We are singing a musical number with the sisters at the ward christmas party because everyone doesnt want to perform or do anything so at this rate we may be a good chunk of the entertainment on sat. The ward is awesome and there are lots of kids which is great. Christmas is coming up quick! Its strange being here for the second time during the holiday season and knowing that ive been here for over a year now. Time passes quickly when you are busy. Okayama is a really quiet place and there is not a lot of crazy or exciting or anything really and its been a lot of thinking time. Keola just got home and I remember sitting at his farewell and feeling the time suddenly rush towards me and now it is the opposite; like sand slipping through your fingers. Life is Cray. Hows things at home anything exciting happen recently? I feel so out of touch this transfer lol. I am living in the world but i have no idea what is going on oustide hahaha. as far as the christmas call is concerned i think we will be able to use skype but ill check today if this computer can do it. I will email you the details but i can pretty much do it whenever you have time. Im pretty sure you can only have up to 4 people on the same skype line at a time before you have to pay. Idk ill figure it out and let you know by next week. But i is still alive so no worry anyways LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Christmas Message (for Nu'uanu Ward)

Christmas Message Aloha and Konnichiwa from the Land of the Rising Sun! Thank you for all of your prayers and support for not only my family and I but for all of the missionaries across the globe. As we come to this joyful Christmas season let us always remember the Savior and his sacrifice on our behalf. It is because of Him, that we are able to have joy in this life and in the life to come. As I have served here in Japan i have come to gain a testimony of God and the Savior`s love for us, as I think of this a favorite scripture comes to mind. In 1 Nephi 21:14-16 it reads... 14 But, behold, Zion hath said: The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me—but he will show that he hath not. 15 For can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee, O house of Israel. 16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. If anyone has ever accidentally or purposefully marked their hand with a pen they can speak from experience that you see this mark often throughout the day. Every time the Savior of the world sees His hands He is reminded of his love for us. That we may always remember Him is my prayer, and what could be a better way than to heed to the council which Christ gave to Peter; "feed my lambs". (John 21:15) This Christmas season is the greatest chance we have to introduce those whom we love and care about to their Savior. Let us go forth and serve the Lord, for if he is with us whom shall we fear? I love you all and i wish you all a Mele Kalikimaka Elder Jonah Yee (Yee Chorro)

Sun 12/7/2014 4:21 PM (from Takamatsu to Okayama) Transfer

Herro famiry!!!! Maaaan this week was different. After getting the transfer call on monday Marquez Choro and i tried our best to meet with all of our investigators but everyone was busy. The last few days in takamatsu were busy but nothing happened haha. On the last day everyone was dead and after we finished packing we just chilled in the apartment for a while until Marquez choro decided he wanted to go and get a teddy bear from one of those claw games lol. ended up at an arcade sort of place and guess what i found there, a dude playing the brand new Street Fighter Ultra arcade machine. Yamamoto Choro convinced me to play him (wasn't a very hard thing to do lol) and i played a few rounds with the guy. Ho my street fighter skills were so rusty but i played while yamamoto choro talked to him and guess what? GOT HIS PHONE NUMBER and even though he doesn't have a whole lot of interest in the gospel he will probably meet with yamamoto choro hahaha. Then we went to go and get yakiniku and then it was off to Okayama to spend the night before transfers. Pretty funny week and i got to see a lot of friends from throughout the mission. The ward here in Okayama is great, reminds me of home, and there are tons of kids!!! I dont know why tho but i have this feeling still like im not supposed to be here. Idk maybe its just because i didnt want to leave takamatsu or whatev but im gunna work until the feeling either goes away or until I transfer. The new area is auaight pretty country and lots of housing but the city is only 7min away by train. We are going to the brand new aeon mall in the city today with the elders down there. Other than that life is good, cant complain. We got like 50 persimmons that i gotta eat cause my comp doesn't really eat them so yay me gots some fruits. thats about it hahaha LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
