January 26, 2014

My bike is being repaired right now and it should take about another week but luckily for us the branch members had a couple of bikes we can use so we are fine.  i am pretty much fully adjusted to life here other than the language and the weird things people do sometimes.  Most spiritual experience...we have been teaching this guy who called us out of the blue one day so i always look forward to lessons with him.  uh funnest thing would have to be hills we get to ride down at the end of the day to get home.  hardest thing is just staying optimistic and having faith that we will find people who are waiting for the invitation to come unto Christ.  i dont need anything and the food is good. theres this yakiniku place that is 10 bucks at lunch time so we are gunna try it out probably this week.  havent met anyone from hawaii or the states lately.  I dont need anything.  my credit cards do work in japan so no worries.  today we are just gunna do the normal shopping and maybe go exploring for a recycle shop or something lidat.  new years i rang a bell at like 12 at night but yea nothing too exciting.  anyways i shall keep everyone back home in my prayers.

Love You Guys!!!

Doctrine & Covenants 58
 27 Verily I say, men should be aanxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness;
 28 For the power is in them, wherein they are aagents unto themselves. And inasmuch as men do good they shall in nowise lose their breward.

Herro famiry!
           hows everyone doing?  i am good as well haha.  things in miki are still slow and we got straight zeros for the second week in a row but things will shape up soon i can feel it.  we just had taikais in kobe this past thursday so we got to hear President zinke speak and we got some new training and good stuffs like that.  nothing interesting yet... lol i shall keep an eye out for the cards.  My new comp is cool.
      We just go a new training plan on relying on the lord. it talks about something like We as mortals can do nothing of significance in this life. it is only through living worthily, to have the companionship of the spirit, that we may even begin to accomplish something great.  we are nothing but through taking the sacrament, obeying the commandments, and relying on the lord we can access the power to move mountains.

Alma 37:36-37 is a good one.
 35 O, remember, my son, and alearn bwisdom in thy cyouth; yea, learn in thy youth to keep the commandments of God.
 36 Yea, and acry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy bdoings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy cthoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever.
 37 aCounsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for bgood; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the cmorning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

The work here or anywhere else is not easy.  I have been refused by hundreds of people already but I know that the elect are out there.  We have 3 people ready to hear the gospel in our area right now, all we have to do is find them.  They are waiting to hear the Lord speak through us.  sometimes i wish they would come knock on the door cause the lord could easily cause such a simple thing to come to pass but apparently there is still much we have to learn so we get up every day and go to work.

Its pretty cold. it snowed like 3 flakes this morning lol.
 We are going to be on splits tomorrow so we are leaving in around an hour and then i have 4 hours on a train but whatevs haha.  all we did was shop and fix my bike today
Love you guys!!!
