Herro
famiry!!! we had conference yesterday with kaicho and the APs yesterday
which is why my p-day is today. This week was great! We just as a
mission reported to the Bretheren how many baptisms we are going to have as an
area and our companionships number is two by the end of the year. The
pressure to perform is palpable! We only have around 5 more weeks to find
and baptize 2 people. Yesterdays conference was awesome as usual, I love
Welch Kaicho. we talked about using the BOM in our street contacts and teaching
as well as how to answer questions better through the BOM.
I am
sooooooo glad that aunty Hela is back on the path and is working towards her
celestial mansion haha. Our family is a little bit closer to the heavenly
reunion that i am working towards. PRAISE BE TO THE LORD!!!
Nothing else
really. We are teaching 10 lessons a week and we have a little family of
3 a Mom and her two kids; one boy one girl who we are hoping to start teaching
this week.
i'm having fun and although its a little cold life is great.
This weeks
scripture comes from 1 Nephi 19:9
9 And the world, because of their iniquity, shall judge him to be a thing of naught; wherefore they scourge him, and he suffereth it;and they smite him, and he suffereth it. Yea, they spit upon him,and he suffereth it, because of his loving kindness and his long-suffering towards the children of men.
and the second from 1 Ne 21:14-16
14 But, behold, Zion hath said: The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me—but he will show that he hath not.
15 For can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee, O house of Israel.
Oh how our Savior loves us!!!!
Love you
guys!!!!!

Herro
Famiry!!! This week was super short, nothing too crazy. We had a
halloween party after english class which kinda sucked but the kids had fun so
it was alright. Then on sat we went fishing with the branch president
akamatsu kaicho and a less active. It was pretty boring and i remembered
why i dont like fishing but we had a good time. Only caught fugu and
there are a billion of them in the ocean here, thats all that people
catch.
On sat and sunday we had district conference which was really
good. They called a new district president because the old one is getting
transferred to nara and the new one is an american. His japanese is
really good and I know that the Lord knows what he is doing but it is kinda
sad. Where are all of the Japanese priesthood holders?
Sorry
short rant lol. Anyways i am fine and i dont need anything right
now. As a mission we are starting to read the BOM while highlighting in
different colors; 1-any references of Christ Lord or any other name,
2-attributes of Christ, and 3-anything he said.
Maybe you all can get a
new clean copy and read with me. The mission has a goal to finish it by
march 1st so thats what im gunna be studying for a while. Anyways LOVE
YOU GUYS!!!

SO just got
back from a district softball competition and it was pretty fun. Some of
the members are pretty good so i had the chance to throw at like 75% at times
hahaha. This week was pretty good. We dressed up as anpanman and
draimon for halloween and handed out english class flyers which was super
fun. We also found this pretty solid 19yr old kid who has interest in the
gospel this week. Hes super cool and his english is pretty good. Other
than that nothing exciting.
I jacked up my shoulder batting at the cages
last week and i hurt it again this week but it is what it is. Its gunna
take a lot more than that to keep me down. Nothing really cool to report
haha. We found this big kahuna place today so we are probably gunna go
check that out. The sign said hawaiian and mexican food so we gotta go at
least once. I am fine and dont need anything. Love you guys!!!

Herro
Family!!!!!!!
this week is
going to be a fast email cuz we aint got much time. Takamatsu is awesome
and we are already having fun out here. My new comp is Elder Marques hes
12th transfer 3 ahead of me and we opened the second set of elders here in this
area so just like a whitewash we start from scratch. We still dont have
desks or bikes or room to sleep cuz of our bags but it is what it is right now
hahaha. The train ride was long and boring but not super far.
The
weather goes from winter to summer in an hour but its nice and cool at night.
its actually perfect right now. This week we went to go eat at the hotel in
imabari at the lunch buffet before i hopped on the train. Not great but
the view was good. THen when we were in okayama waiting for my comp to
get here we did it again in okayama at a pretty tall hotel. 20 bucks
decent food and all you can eat, pretty good day.
These first few weeks
or so are gunna be hard but we work well together and we are ready to
work. I dont have much time this week we gotta go to the batting cage and
practice for the branch softball tourney against marugame and tokushima
branches CHEEEE! God loves us and Jesus is awesome its all over the
scriptures.
When times get tough drop your pride, put your head down,
give thanks to God and get to work.
LOVE YOU
GUYS!!!!!

| The island you see....that is Hanohano Chorro (Kana'i) Mission (Fukuoka) |
Herro
Famiry, hows everything going.
I is good
and i dont need anything right now. actually pictures would be nice.
its been really nice lately to scroll through pictures on my ipod of the
fam and i have the pic of noah giving the big hawaiian man statue a purple
nurple as my home screen.
I miss you guys. Insight this week huh
uhm i was listening to john bytheway the other day the first solo and when he
talks about how his instructor got out of the plane and said "remember
what i taught you." i was thinking about this the other day and i would be
very surprised if our heavenly father before we were sent down to earth didnt
pull us aside, talk to us for as long as we needed and then send us on our way
having said something very similar. I have that written down on the front
of my planner to remind me throughout the day.
The most
challenging thing this week was that our most solid investigator dropped us the
other day because he felt that he cant understand what we were teaching.
we were trying to teach as simply as possible but we could have done
better. We still have some comp issues but we are slowly working those
out. just missionary life no biggie.
I have
learned from my companion that being a pharisee is not fun so i will continue
being futsu hito hahaha gotta smell the roses while ur out here or you will go
crazy.
Havent
really learned anything new recently except that during obon they
"catch" god in this box in their house.
Onmaku was
sat and yesterday which was pretty cool. we got to see 15min of the firework
show and there was maguro from the giant tokyo fish market, was so ono.
OH AND I SAW A SQUIRREL! it was in a cage and i have a pic but i forgot
my memory card reader at home zanen.
anyways LOVE
YOU GUYS!!!
